Leo Li

Ziqian "Leo" Li began studying piano at age 5 and became a student of Yamaha piano artist Nariya Nogi when he was 14 years old.  He is a graduate of Tianjin Conservatory of Music, one of the most prestigious conservatories in China and currently is a student at the San Francisco Conservatory.

2014 was a busy year for Leo in which he was the first prize winner of the international IBLA piano competition in Italy.  Later that year Leo attended the Shanghai International Piano Music Festival where internationally famous pianist Lang Lang complimented his performance. That same year he also performed in the Gala concert hall in Cleveland, won the first prize of the Chinese Golden Bell international piano competition, and performed his graduate recital at the Tianjin Conservatory of Music.

Now based in San Francisco, Leo has been a student of Dr. Sharon Mann at the San Francisco Conservatory since 2016.  Leo manages to return to China on occasion and in 2018 had another recital in Tianjin and had a televised interview on "Hello Tianjin" on Tianjin TV Infl.
