With over 700 students and nearly forty faculty, Inspire Music is one of the largest private music studios in the Bay Area. Our diverse faculty brings a wide range of musical experience, offering instruction in many different instruments and musical styles. In addition to our private lessons, we also offer instrument rentals, accessories, and group classes.

Lora Libby
Soprano Lora Libby is a 2013 graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she received an M.M. in Vocal Performance, in addition to holding a B.M. degree from the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music (IL). She received the Dean B. McNealy Scholarship from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and has also been a finalist in both classical and musical theater divisions at multiple state, regional NATS competitions. She has also been awarded the Searfoss Prize in Vocal Music from the Wheaton College Conservatory, and the Garabedian Foundation Scholarship from OperaWorks.
Her recent opera roles include Papagena (Die Zauberflöte), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), the title role in Cavalli’s La Calisto, Despina (Così fan tutte), Lucia (The Rape of Lucretia), and Amy March (Little Women). Lora is also an avid musical theater performer, and her roles include Hodel (Fiddler on the Roof) Olive Ostrovsky (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and Clara (Light in the Piazza). Upcoming performances include Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni with San Francisco Waffle Opera, to be performed at the Yerba Buena Children’s Creativity Theater in late October and early November.
As a teacher, Lora has nearly 10 years of experience teaching private voice and piano lessons to students of all ages and abilities, in a variety of styles. She is committed to helping students learn the basic technical skills of their instrument, and building a solid foundation for musical expression.
