With over 700 students and nearly forty faculty, Inspire Music is one of the largest private music studios in the Bay Area. Our diverse faculty brings a wide range of musical experience, offering instruction in many different instruments and musical styles. In addition to our private lessons, we also offer instrument rentals, accessories, and group classes.

Daphne Gooch

A native of Santa Rosa, California, Daphne Gooch attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music for her bachelor’s degree and obtained her masters degree in Orchestral Performance from Manhattan School of Music. She also received a Certificate from the San Francisco Academy Orchestra where she studied with Jonathon Vinocour and is continuing the program currently with Matthew Young.

 

Daphne freelances in the Bay Area doing both chamber and orchestral work including as a member of the Astraeus String Quartet, with the Santa Rosa Symphony, and as Assistant  Principal in the Oregon Ballet Theatre Orchestra. Ms. Gooch also enjoys teaching in schools throughout the Bay Area with the San Francisco Symphony Teaching Mentors program and otherwise, at Inspire Music and Heriz Music and Art and also privately in Mountain view and in San Francisco.
